I believe

  • That politics is the strongest tool that one can use to improve the lives of his neighbours.
  • That Health and Education are the two main pillars of society
  • That the environment is ours and we all have the duty to take care of it and improve it.
  • That we need to invest heavily in alternative uses of resources, so as to have a cleaner environment and also to depend less on oil as our only source of energy
  • That everyone should be given every opportunity to improve himself, with an open economy and with special attention to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)
  • That unfortunately there are some people who cannot compete fairly in our society and as a result we have to have a strong social policy that ensures that these people live a life in dignity.
  • We need to work harder to attract top notch jobs so as to be able to keep our best people on the island.
  • Everyone should be conversant and confident in using Information Technology and should use it on a daily basis.
